PFK Shield & Shelter is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors whose experience spans nonprofit leadership, education, ministry, and community engagement. Their direction ensures that our programs remain accountable, mission-focused, and rooted in the values that inspired PFK’s founding on Pine, Front, and King streets in Eudora, Arkansas.

Shanon Middleton

President of the Board

Shanon has a strong background in nonprofit leadership, program development, and adult education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master of Education in Adult and Lifelong Learning from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

As the Founder of Leaven Rising LLC and with more than fifteen years of experience in nonprofit administration, recruitment, admissions, and regional oversight, Shanon brings strategic insight and a deep commitment to serving communities across Arkansas.

Anwan Middleton

Board Member

Anwan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and brings a strong background in statewide educational systems and program oversight. His work with the Arkansas Department of Education strengthens PFK’s focus on educational pathways, family support, and community-centered solutions.

Reverend Bobby Middleton Jr.

Board Member

Bobby is an ordained minister with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. His professional experience spans library operations and higher education library services, connecting PFK to community knowledge centers, literacy initiatives, and public access resources. Bobby supports PFK’s mission with a focus on education, community engagement, and service.
